Grab a book and relax in front of our log fire. Put on your walking boots and explore the beautiful private forest reserve. Swim from the pontoon, or hire a fishing rod. Explore some of the nearby tracks, ranging from easy to expert, by mountain bike. Or visit some of the many natural attractions surrounding us here in Tasmania's Far South.We have doubles and 6 bed "bunk style" cabins, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, our Olegas Truchanas Lodge and a spacious and well equipped BBQ area. Dine in our dining hall with views of the spectacular Port Esperance River.

Far South is the ideal base camp to the World Heritage Area. It is located close to Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves and Thermal Pools, Lunaris Gemstones, Ida Bay Railway, Hartz Mountain, Adamson's Peak, Duckhole Lake, the South Coast track, and South Cape, Australia's Southern-most point.
