Wilderness Weddings
Your wedding can be a wonderful "wilderness experience"... for all your guests.
Take advantage of our wilderness accommodation on site for up to 70 guests with superb catering. The ceremony can be performed right on the waters edge... the bride can even be rowed ashore by the bridal party on our French longboat, "La Chaloupe" or arrive by seaplane mooring up to the jetty. On arrival chilled champagne and local oysters can be served on the lawn ...let the festivities begin.

The Far South Wilderness Company's mission is to be highly regarded and provide stimulating and meaningful experiences for its clients.
The idyllic location of the Far South offers wonderful wilderness experiences from the water to the mountains. We have available overhead and slide projectors, screen, video, DVD and television, whiteboard etc. All in a comfortable warm conference room, The Olegas Truchanas Lodge.
To enhance the experience, your conference could include Historic longboat tours with a local historian aboard 'La Chaloupe', perhaps with an oyster cook up at the midden (a local Aboriginal person could be arranged for interpretation of the site and tales of their relationship with the local environs).
